Designed for our love of the national parks

I reached out to Galen, at Ottis & Pearl, to get help in decorating my guest room. I wanted to choose a style that was a little outside my comfort zone but one that reflected our love of the national parks.

Galen was wonderful. He spent time understanding our likes and dislikes and then presented us with a vision board. Galen has a great eye and the vision board provided the perfect inspiration needed to move forward with finalizing a design.

To cut down some of the costs I wanted to do some of the work myself; painting, shopping for accessories etc. Galen always made time for my calls when I had questions. He also made himself available for making final choices on paint, lighting and textiles.

I owned several sentimental pieces I wanted to include in the room including, paintings, prints and photographs. Galen helped me choose framing and matte options that pulled all the pieces together in a meaningful way.

We were unable to find premade drapes, pillows, and seat cushions. So, Galen helped me find the fabrics and made the custom pillows and cushions while also altering the commercial made drapes to work with the decor.

Timing was always tricky for me, Galen was extremely flexible while working with me. Working with Ottis & Pearl was very easy and was an overall positive experience, from the initial consultation to billing and payment - everything was simple and convenient.

Galen also came and installed the lighting, shelves, drapes and then staged the final room. The end result was a beautiful room that represented my style but elevated. It perfectly represented our love for the national parks and would be very comfortable place for our guests. We could not be happier!
